Practice Profile

Patrick was called to the Bar in 2016 and joined Jason Pow S.C. Chambers in the same year.

Patrick is developing a broad range civil practice and has been involved in cases relating to defamation, trusts, probate, contract and land. He also practices in criminal law, and has appeared in the High Court, the District Court and Magistracies.

Patrick accepts instructions in all areas of civil and criminal work.

Civil Cases

• Yip Sau Ching v Yip Che Shing and others, [2025] HKCFI 657 – represented the Defendants to challenge the validity of the will based on fraudulent calumny (led by Benjamin Yu S.C. and with Mr Herbert Leung)
• Dimensional Developments Limited v Archid Garment Factory Limited and others, [2026] HKCFI 2166 – represented 2nd to 6th Defendants and successfully resisted Plaintiff’s application for leave to commence a statutory derivative action (led by Bernard Man S.C. and with Mr Kalvin Chan)
• Primeway International Ltd and Another v. Yi He (HK) Trading Co., Ltd, [2018] 2 HKLRD 1416 – represented the Plaintiff to obtain a declaratory judgment against the Defendant (as sole advocate)
• Lam Chun Fung v. Wong Wai Tung and others, [2020] 1 HKLRD 546 – represented the 2nd to 7th Defendants to resist the interlocutory application of expedite trial (as sole advocate)
• Szeto Pok Yuen v Tack Hsin Restaurant (MongKok) Limited, [2021] HKDC 1037 – represented the 1st Defendant and successfully resisted a personal injury claim from Plaintiff (with Mr Herbert Leung)
• Loh Sai, The administratrix of the estate of Wang George also known as George Wang, Deceased v. High Choice Enterprises Ltd and another, HCMP 1775/2015 – represented the 2nd Defendant (by original action) to resist the interlocutory applications made by the Plaintiff and the 1st Defendant (as sole advocate)
• The incorporated owners of Duke Garden v. Free Point Technology Ltd, DCCJ 3923/2016 – represented the Plaintiff to seek injunction, breach of DMC claim against the Defendant at trial (as sole advocate)
• Lee Yiu Kwong t/a Singing Stone v. Chong Sai (H.K.) Development Ltd, DCCJ 896/2017 – represented the Plaintiff in a contract claim at trial (as sole advocate)

Criminal Cases

• HCCC 30/2018 – represented the Defendant in a rape trial and acquitted (with Mr David Ma)
• KCCC 1860/2020 – represented the Defendant in an indecent assault trial and acquitted (with Mr David Ma)
